In the Kitchen with Stephanie: Protein

Join Iris’s oncology dietitian, Stephanie Meyers, for a live virtual cooking demo focused on one of the most important nutrients during cancer care: protein.

We’ll cover:

  • What protein is and why it matters
  • How cancer treatment can affect your protein needs
  • Tips for getting enough—especially when energy, appetite, or taste changes make eating feel harder

Stephanie will then show how to make a simple, satisfying snack: Cool & Crunchy Yogurt Bark. This high-protein, nutrient-packed treat combines creamy yogurt with your favorite fruits, nuts, seeds, and a touch of sweetness. It’s customizable, freezer-friendly, and perfect for summer.

Whether you’re managing side effects, trying to maintain weight, or just want a cool snack that supports your strength and energy, this event is for you.
