Unlike public forums and general searches, Iris allows you to access support and information that’s personalized to your cancer type and stage. All this without leaving the comfort of your own home.
How it Works
Iris is accessible through your smartphone, providing you access to the answers, resources, care, and support you need from the comfort of your own home.

Next, download the app by clicking “Get” within the Apple Store or “Install” within the Google Play Store. Iris is available for free to members of participating health plans. Once downloaded, open app and agree to the Terms & Conditions and Consents.
To create an account, you will need your health insurance card to confirm your eligibility. Next, you will enter your first name, last name, date of birth, Health Insurance Provider and Health Insurance Member ID exactly as displayed on your insurance card. You will also enter your email address which will be used as your username. Remember to verify your email and follow the prompts to validate your device.

After activating your account, you’ll land on the Iris homepage. Many people like to start by reading the bios of our peer mentors, others want to schedule a time to speak with one of our mental health therapists. It’s up to you. We are here when you need us.
The Iris Care Team
Iris is developed and delivered by oncology certified nurses, specialized oncology social workers, psychologists, physician assistants, registered dietitian nutritionists, peer mentors, and board-certified oncologists. Collectively they have worked at over 150 different cancer institutions across the country including Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Moffitt Cancer Center.
Excellent cancer care requires deep expertise. Our clinical leadership team hails from top U.S. cancer institutions, with a knowledge base spanning cancer types, treatments, and research.
Our licensed mental health therapists specialize in the emotional toll of cancer. They’re here to help you cope with change and care for yourself and your family along the way.
Working as a holistic team, our certified nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, and psychologists have years of bedside experience. Their wellness plans and recommendations support every area of your life.
